THE FIRESIDE SERIES
This is a yoga series that is the “yang” to our first series of gentle classes: "The Lakeside Series". (which is now ON SALE UNTIL DECEMBER 31ST and includes our three live workshops in January!!! Use coupon code NEWYEAR at checkout!)
While we always focus on safe and effective classes, these sessions will focus more on building heat and energy through breath work, postures, and guided meditation imagery. Power Yoga and Yoga Sculpt classes available in addition to Anatomy-Focused Gentle Yoga, Restorative Yoga, and a specialty Myofascial Release session.

Amanda lives in Duluth, MN and Bryana lives in Longville, MN. They are best friends and not only believe in a connection to nature, water, and wildlife, but also recognize the inherent gifts a fire can bring: whether that's inside cuddled up with tea, or outside around the bonfire with friends and family. Week One
Live 2hr Workshop: Annual Yoga + New Year’s Journaling
A highly anticipated annual event! This workshop alone is a $40 value! For this series - it’s included in your Fireside package!
For the last five years, Amanda and Bryana have kept a New Year’s tradition. They follow a specific set of journal prompts to reflect on the last year, and look to the year ahead. After spending time in individual reflection and writing, they talk on the phone about their ponderings, passions, dreams, mishaps, goals, and more. Bryana has transformed this cherished friendship tradition into a workshop format that has been offered in Walker, MN the past four years: Annual Yoga + New Year’s Journaling Workshop.
Join Amanda and Bryana together as they offer this personally special tradition live on zoom for the first time ever! A two-hour special event from the comfort of your own home. Reflect and dream with us! One hour of yoga, followed by writing exercises and optional time to share. This live workshop officially kicks off The Fireside Series!
What do I need? Yoga mat, journal & pen. Recommended to bring a blanket, warm socks, tea, water, snacks, and anything else you need to feel cozy comfort during our writing session.

Gentle Yoga | Psoas, Low-back, and Pranayama with Bryana
A gentle yoga class focused on the low-back. Gaining strength and flexibility in, and around the low-back is important for longevity in yoga and in life. Release in the low-back and psoas, and proper posture allows greater access to pranayama (breathing), which we know is so important in yoga!
Power Yoga | Lower Body Emphasis with Amanda
An energizing thirty minutes by the bonfire with Amanda. We will squat, lunge, and kick. While the word “Power” is in the title, fear not. Amanda will provide options for levels 1-3. Level one will provide a static version of the pose, level two will introduce movement, and level three is for those of you looking for “beast mode!”
Yoga Sculpt | Core & Cardio Emphasis with Amanda
Kick off the new year with some endorphins and sweat! This class will challenge you to find your edge as we build strength in our core and introduce some cardio. Amanda will offer low impact versions of each cardio move.
Release & Restore with Bryana
A gentle yoga release followed by a restorative yoga class with props. A chair, 1-2 blankets, two blocks (or thick books), and four pillows from your bed (or a yoga bolster). Wear comfy clothing and warm layers for ultimate relaxation.
Week Two
Live Workshop: Morning Rituals
Establish, revisit, or refine your morning routine. A morning ritual brings abundance to your day-to-day life, and overall physical and mental health. But, how do I get there? How do I consistently show up for myself, yet give myself grace when my morning routine doesn’t look the way I think it should? Well, this workshop is for you!
What do I need? Yoga mat, journal & pen. Recommended to bring a blanket, warm socks, tea, water, snacks, and anything else you need to feel cozy comfort during our writing session.

Gentle Yoga | Neck and Shoulders with Bryana
A releasing class for the neck, shoulders, wrists, and arms. We will focus on Eagle Arms pose. This is a great stand alone class, or a nice pairing to limber up for the next session with Bryana: “Power Yoga | Total Body Emphasis”.
Power Yoga | Total Body Emphasis with Bryana
A powerful flow with a focus on Eagle Pose. We move through chair and warrior variations with eagle arms and modification options. This is a great stand alone class, or a nice pairing with the previous session with Bryana: “Gentle Focus: Neck and Shoulders”. Although Power Yoga is in the title, fear not, Bryana teaches with safety-conscious cues, and with modification options, that are focused on longevity and body-friendly movements.
Yoga Sculpt | Upper Body Emphasis with Amanda
Yoga sculpt with emphasis on our upper bodies! Whoop, whoop!

Gentle Yoga | Pelvic Floor and Pranayama with Bryana
A gentle workshop-style yoga class focused on pelvic floor awareness and health. The pelvic floor muscles are important for daily functioning and for an informed yoga practice. Our posture, as well as connection to our breathing (pranayama) is important for knowledge and understanding of pelvic floor functioning. Join Bryana is breathing exercises, and yoga poses, all focused on gently stretching and strengthening the pelvic floor muscles. You will want props for this session: a yoga block or two (or thick book(s)), a yoga strap (or scarf/bathrobe towel, necktie), and a blanket that can be folded. And yes - this is for men too!
Yoga Sculpt | Core & Cardio Emphasis with Amanda
Another core & cardio sculpt! Revisiting moves you are familiar with by now! Get ready to get the heart rate up, up, up!
Power Yoga | Bind to Unwind with Amanda
Bring a scarf for this practice. We’ll twist it out and work on our binds using a scarf as our prop.
Release & Restore with Bryana
The ultimate slow and soothing restorative yoga session with props. Bring 1-2 blankets, two blocks (or thick books), and four pillows from your bed (or a yoga bolster). Wear comfy clothing and warm layers for ultimate relaxation.
Myofascial Release and Relaxing Yoga with Bryana
This class is aimed at releasing tension in the body through a self-massage method paired with yoga. You will need a tennis ball, or racquetball for this class. Option to include a chair as well.
Week Four
Live Workshop: Committing to Tapas, Self-Discipline
Tapas is a Sanskrit word that translates to self-discipline. Do you struggle with it? You’re not alone!
How can I continue with self-discipline this winter? We know that self-discipline is key to maximize the use of your self-care toolbox. Let’s dive in, together.
What do I need? Yoga mat, journal & pen. Recommended to bring a blanket, warm socks, tea, water, snacks, and anything else you need to feel cozy comfort during our writing session.
