Why the new logo?
Five Years
We are coming up on the five year anniversary of Boreal Bliss Yoga Retreats! WOW! We officially hosted our very first retreat in February 2017 at Deep Portage in Hackensack, MN. And actually….the concept, ideas, and brainstorm of all that starting coming to fruition right about now. It was in October 2016 that we started to plan and prepare for our very first yoga retreat. We literally had NO IDEA then that we were flailing ourselves into a journey of multiple retreats each year, a yoga teacher training program, new lifelong friendships and connections, virtual yoga, wild new adventures, setbacks and challenges.
Somehow through the years, it has become more and more clear to us that this thing we’ve created is important and here to stay! We wanted to celebrate our history, growth, and momentum with a fresh new look! A spin on our original logo.

Welcoming Invitation
The variety of trees in the design signify a diverse range of people that make up the community of Boreal Bliss Yoga Retreats. You could envision a variety of all shapes, sizes, colors, modifications, and backgrounds standing in tree pose. You could also see a variety of trees to appreciate mindfully, with water below and sun/moon overhead. All of these things are celebrated, appreciated, honored, and important to us at Boreal Bliss.
We worked with Sek Design Studio
Sek Design is based in Duluth, MN. They do outstanding work! We had such a great experience we just wanted to take a moment to share it with you.
We were very impressed with the Sek team’s care, attention to detail, and responsiveness. Our experience in working with them remotely through zoom calls and email communication was a satisfying breeze.
Sek’s tagline is “thoughtful design with your story in mind”, and wow did that ring true. The team at Sek worked seamlessly together to make us feel heard, seen, and valued from finish to end. We loved their finished work and we hope you do too!
