Grant for Black, African American, African Heritage Scholarships

As part of our ongoing commitment to equity and inclusion in the yoga space, we offer scholarships to our yoga retreats, events, workshops, and classes. We formally established a 501(c)(3) non-profit (Boreal Bliss Scholarship Foundation) in 2023 after many years of self-funding scholarships for retreats.

1.) Resident of Duluth, Superior, Hermantown, Procter, Rice Lake, or the Iron Range Communities.

2. ) African American or African heritage.

If awarded, what does the scholarship cover?

1.) Full or partial tuition to cover a weekend-long or day-long yoga retreat with Boreal Bliss.

2.) May include stipend to cover necessary expenses to address attendance barriers (i.e. yoga mat, gas, sleeping bag, snowpants, etc.)

If you meet the requirements stated above, please fill  out the Unity Fund scholarship application below and send us an email at hello@borealblissyogaretreats.com once you'd submitted your application.  Thank you!
