Wander in the Woods this Fall

Every Autumn I feel a big exhale come on.

Whhheeewwwww! Summer was a whirlwind, right?

This fall is no different. The shorter days bring awareness that a cozier, quieter time of life is on its way. But I’m not quite ready for that complete slowness just yet.

If a year was tucked inside of a clock, then autumn would be the magic hour.

I am however, ready to treat myself to intentional time away. All summer long, I am go-go-go, the ultimate planner and entertainer for my family. The kids were swimming, biking, traveling, play-dating, snacking, nonstop. Now we are getting into the routine of school.

I need to carve out some time for me.

Fall marks a time for change and transition. I find myself needing to really focus on the present during fall. It’s such an incredible time of year! If I don’t really work on it, it flies by way too fast.

This is why we created and titled our October 11-13 yoga retreat: Wander. It’s a space and time created for you. It’s all planned. Just walk right in and exhale. It’s a weekend to let your shoulders relax, and your mind and body wander.

You choose the sessions, activities, workshops, and elements that would make the weekend feel just perfect.

What to expect?

  • lodging at scenic Deep Portage

  • organic, seasonal meals with Green Scene Eatery

  • multiple yoga sessions to choose from

  • meditation

  • journaling

  • hiking

  • yoga nidra + sound bowls

  • indoor rock climbing

  • wood-fired sauna

  • add-on fresh juice orders, juice workshop with Jami Nelson of Just Juice, and a Sweater Weather Mocktail Bar Experience

  • add-on a massage or Thai yoga bodywork session

Everyone must take time to sit and watch the leaves change.

It’s amazing how mindful time in nature really soothes my nervous system. I crave it, I need it. There’s not doubt I come out of a weekend at a retreat a more refreshed version of myself.

And the sun took a step back, the leaves lulled themselves to sleep, and autumn was awakened.
— Raquel Franco

If some time and space to wander, relax, and rejuvenate is calling to you, please join us this October!
